Hey there–

I am, as I’m sure you’ve gathered, a musician. It’s taken some time for me to feel comfortable identifying myself that way. Being a musician, however, is now an inseparable element of my identity and my life. My meaning and happiness come from it.

When I play a song of mine for someone, they often share with me what artist it reminds them of or what phase of their college music taste it brings them back to. I’ve heard a pretty wide swath of comparisons (from Joni Mitchell to Liz Phair)– I aim to do that, though. Every song I write and arrange is shaped by a unique combination of influences, both from my internal mental contents and the music I’ve been surrounding myself with externally.

My current musical pursuits include developing my guitar and violin playing, constantly writing new music that I record and perform, and continually studying music theory and performance. Right now I’m working on an album and preparing to study music, among other creative subjects, this fall at college in Great Barrington, Massachusets.

I love all of what this wild road is bringing me!
